SEB graduates have achieved remarkable results this year as part of the IB Diploma Programme. The points in the International Baccalaureate are different from those in the Romanian baccalaureate programme. Thus, for each of the 6 exam subjects studied, the maximum mark a student can get is 7. The minimum score for passing the exam is 24 points out of 45 possible. This score is obtained by accumulating points from the six study subjects as well as from the three core curriculum components: Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay, and CAS (Creativity-Action-Service)-components without which one cannot be awarded an International Baccalaureate Diploma.

The international average is 31 points in this programme, SEB students achieving results from 32 up to 42 points and thus being above the international average. So the average at SEB is 38 points. In addition to the 100% graduation rate, SEB students have managed 45% of results over 40 points, which is an outstanding result. An added value for SEB students who have taken this type of Baccalaureate is that six of them were awarded a bilingual diploma, the most prestigious diploma of this type. Congratulations to all students for their excellent results and to all their teachers!
